when i watched 'the academy' on astro wah lai toi just now, i can't stop thinking about the good old days during my three-month stay in Sabah for National Service. in the drama just now, the police training cadets went into the jungle for adventure or something as a group. in ns, we went into the jungle and stayed there as well, though it's only one night adventure. i learned alot there ( but forgot most of the skills now..hehe ) including how to set up a tent, surviving skills, what leaves can be eaten, making traps etc. i learned how to work together as a team also cause during the 'journey' into the jungle, selected trainees will pretend like they're legs were hurt, broken, cramped, etc..so as a team, we must help them ( it's the time to show off our first aid and surviving skills )..though we knew they're just acting but we still have to help them seriously...cause....trainers were evaluating! wakakakakakakakakaka!
the surroundings of my tent in the jungle sucks...it's so dirty and uncomfortable...blamed me for being a city boy..but still! but anyway, it's a good experience and i had fun! for those who are selected for the new batch, congratulations! seriously, you are darn lucky to be chosen..it's a priceless experience! go for it and i am sure you will say 'i'm proud to be chosen for ns'~ i miss my camp in Sabah, i miss the trainers, i miss the food( can't beleieve i'm saying this! ), i miss the activities, and i miss my ns friends very much.
the most favourite activity when i was in ns gotta be footdrill..i love to drill/march very much,i don't know why..say i'm crazy! but i'm lovin it! it started in primary school but i fell in love with it only when in secondary school when i was a member for st.john ambulance..i think it's very cool! hahah! it can dsicipline myself also, with the commands..if i do anything wrong, i'll get it! the punishment? push-ups! i even volunteered myself for st.john ambulance malaysia's squad for merdeka parade for two consecutive years, at Putrajaya and Merdeka Square respectively..it feels very good when you see everyone in the squad march nicely. i used to give commands back in secondary school and competitions (doesn't look like?haha), i'm satisfied if i see my juniors march nicely but if they don't..i'll screw them up kao kao..you know what, my juniors in secondary school were scared of me...cause i'll scold them if they did anything wrong..i was a strict senior that time...hahah! those were the days~

birthday cake
whao...feel so good,though my 19th birthday is over but my friend baked a cake for me as a birtday present~she said it's white mousse but for me,it's more to like a blueberry cheese cake..i guess it's the first time she's baking cake but it's very nice...although i don't eat cheese but the blueberry is very sweet..anyway,thanks sc!
this year got two 'July' in the chinese calendar, co-incidently, my 19th birthday (Sept 6) is the same day as my chinese birthday (July 14..yes,the hungry ghost festival)..but the red packet that i got from my family doesn't come in double...hahah!i still have one birthday present that not yet 'redeem' from my aunty..thinking of what i want/need..handphone?nah,i am satisfied with my current handphone....ipod?i don't need one....digital cam?ah,too expensive....watch?not bad,can add another one to my collecttion....or a fitness first club membership?hehe....*think*
today is the first day of my mid semester break..as expected, i didn't start my assignment yet..don't even bother about it! hahah! lantaklah, still got so many days...hehe!

three down,one more to go
my classmates can happily say 'finally,mid sem test is over'..how i wish i'm the one saying it? sad to say that i still have one paper to sit for when i come back from semester break..yes, the advertising paper! ohh ya my adv classmates, go to tgen and print/write those tips she posted there..i think it'll be useful cause her 'best friend' did the same thing to us and we did very well in her paper.
yes, crm paper..except for question 1, others were the same questions as we did in the homework..so guys, go memorise the answers of the tips that rosaline gave us!hehe! talking about crm, i must give credit to my lecturer..she used only 1/2 days to mark it! but she takes her own sweet time to mark our literature review assessment (we did that bad meh)? back to the paper, i'm quite satisfied with what i got for crm..well, at least my effort of studying and doing her homework are all worth it.
on the other hand, i feel so stupid today because what i read for social psychology and marketing did not come out..wasted my time and energy to read it! still manage to answer the questions and essays though but the answers? all common sense..come on, almost all of the mcqs for marketing i didn't know how to do..it's not even in textbooks! had a tough time asnwering marketing today..*headache*..passed by miss malar's room when i check my crm marks, i told her that psychology's paper is not easy, it is very hard..here's what she replied 'oh really?someone actually told me that the paper was ok and managed to do' ..i wonder who told her that~

Tsunami's back
It's really sad to hear that tsunami's back in Indonesia, i'm not sure which part but i think is West Java. I watched the news on Astro, they showed a video on tsunami that happened in December 2004. Sad to see how people were trying their very best to run but luck was not on their side, the tsunami was faster than them. I hope there'll be no more earthquake in Indonesia, otherwise the tragedy repeats. Let's pray and hope for the best.
Sad feelings aside, finally semester 4 is starting tomorrow! I remembered i wish this day will come faster but then now i don't really feel like going to college. It's human nature i guess, hahah! Think on the good side, i get to see my friends back..and..get to eat the food! I miss 'roti milo' so much! Semester 4 will be a very hard sem for me, especially this subject called IDTP, 3 hours lecture class man! I think those students helpers at Un-Boxed will know why, sigh~ Without realising it, it's been a year i'm in Taylor's College and i'm already in semester 4, a second year college student..and very soon,i'll be graduating with diploma certificate. But that's not the end for me, i wish to continue to get my degree certificate which will take another 2 years.
On the other hand, the Singapore Great Sale is great! I had a good time there, enjoyed myself so much. Getting to stay in a luxurious hotel for free + free meals + money to spend = happiness! I'll upload the pictures soon..ohh ya,with the 18 sx pictures of Kelly and Swee Ling..haha!You kids below 18, don't see ya..or ask your parents first...hahah!
