so near yet so far

Chinese New Year is in a week's time. This year would be the same for me, no big celebration, not much decorations in my house. Just a simple celebration. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to it.

Besides Chinese New Year, next Wednesday will be my last day in Starbucks too. Yes, my wish is granted by the District Manager finally.

To fellow 0506s, Safira sent her regards to all for you! Her flying kisses! Hehe! Anyway, she's going to ECU in Perth. Yes, she turned down RMIT. I was surprised also but am very happy that ECU accepted her.

Friends, I hate myself for being so fickle-minded. I'm thinking of swtiching to Taylor's Business School for a business degree. Argh, it's freaking hard to make a decision!

no surprises

Everytime when my friends wanted to give me a surprise visit at Sbux, surely tak jadi. Either I'm having off day or they went to the wrong Sbux. Nevermind lah. Anyway, I've submitted the resignation letter finally. I was wrong about the two weeks' notice, it's one month (but i remember cleary in the agreement i signed stated that I can terminate at anytime). I really don't want to go work already. Just want to chill, and sleep.

It's almost there my friends. I'm coming to a final decision already, on where to do my degree but 90% staying with Taylor's. Remaining 10%? Try my luck at Singapore's Unis. Although my love for Singapore is not as much as for Malaysia but I can't deny that Singapore has a better future for me.

Haha, all set for my graduation. I've troubled a few friends for this graduation (you know who you are), thanks for everything. I appreciate it.

She saw me entering college to start my diploma but she didn't get the chance to witness my graduation. Anyway, I think I have done my very best to make her proud. I studied so hard for her, because of a promise, that I will succeed in my life through education. It'll be a hope and wish that I can take a graduation picture with her.

stupid shit

Today is not a fantastic day for me thou feeling much better (fever gone). Went back to college today just to collect graduation tickets. God knows how I lost one (1) ticket! Don't ask me why please. I also don't know. The ticket just lost, suddenly. Wondering how many tickets I bought? I bought extra 3. Meaning to say, have 5 guests in total. 1 for dad, 1 for brother, 1 for aunt, 2 for grandparents. Yes you heard me right, my grandparents are coming. I guess they're coming cause they attended my brother's convo last month at the same venue. So, they'll feel bad if don't attend mine.

Anyway, my aunty came back from Singapore today. Knowing I'm a donut freak, she bought donuts for me from Singapore! It's similar to J.Co. or Big Apple, it's called Donut Factory.

Sigh, I'm now down with a flu that leads to sore throat and fever! I only planned to get mc today, but doctor gave me an extra day for tomorrow which is good I think. Else, I gotta wake up at 6.30am. Opening shift le. I've printed out the resignation letter, have decided to hand in on Saturday.

For now, I just want to recover as soon as possible. I want to look good on Sunday! Lolz!

down-to-a-few

Guess the recent Star Edu Fair didn't help me much on choosing the right Uni/College for degree. I only went to three booths I think. KDU, Monash, and Taylor's. I hated Monash so much because they weren't keen to answer my questions. First impression that counts kay.

Ok, below are my finalised few choices for my degree, in no particular order:

1) Murdoch Uni, Perth.

2) Singapore Management Uni, Singapore.

3) Nanyang Technology Uni, Singapore.

4) Taylor's College, PJ.

5) KDU, PJ.

Honestly, the entry requirements into Singapore's Unis are very high. My end result of diploma might be useless at this point cause they see SPM results. Even those straight A's students also find it hard to enter, I believe it's harder for me.

KDU sounds good to me but one thing lah, I don't like KDU. But I can do my final year in Murdoch Uni, Perth if I join KDU. I have to register by 21st January if I decided to do my degree in KDU. It's around the corner already wey!

untitled post

I don't know what to blog about, but just feel like blogging today. I'll just randomly type down something.

Erm, graduation ceremony is about one week from now. I'm anticipating for the big day, not really because of I'll be accepting the scroll and cert, but most importantly I can see my classmates again. Some people find it hard to adapt themselves in college life, they would prefer secondary school life but I'm totally different. Lolz. I believe in fate. I can go to KDU or IACT for my diploma but I didn't, went to Taylor's. I can also join the Jan/March 2005 (differ NS) or Jan 2006 intake but I didn't, joined the June 2005 (the 0506) instead. Some people are meant to be together, and I think the entire intake of June 2005 are really meant to be together as classmates. Well, we are just so unique. We might not be the best intake with best results of Taylor's history, but I'm sure that we are the only intake in Taylor's that can get along with each other so well (for the entire two and a half year). We have braved through all the good and bad times together.

I guess the most memorable one was organising RAWK activities. 38 different minds, but 1 great team work. It was an awesome experience.

Good times always end faster, so is my diploma.

Haih, thinking where to continue my degree is giving me a big headache. I'm avoiding myself from making a decision all the time but I know I have to, someday.

Sometimes I wish to be like them.
