se[v]en colours in the sky

Despite the angry weather this evening, I somehow saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky fighting its space with the fierce thunder. I think if a person sees a rainbow, s/he must be having some kind of luck, a good one. Because it is not easy for a rainbow to form, and it just appears anywhere and anytime (forget about what you've learned in science, sometimes without rain in the hot sunny weather also can form a rainbow).

My day is complete after watching The Grudge 2 on Starmovie. Maybe this is the second time I'm watching, so the excitement was not there. It was rather a boring movie, or 'another typical horror movie'.

To Queen Esther and Princess Swee Ling, hopefully both of you can sleep tonight without imaganing the sound and scenes from Grudge 2. Oops, I have just reminded you both. Sorry!

too good to be true

When i was waiting for the Rapid KL's bus at Kelana Jaya LRT station, there was a school boy with his schoolmate asking me whether I knew any buses to One Utama. I told him I don't know, maybe he can check the bus routine at the signboard. He did but it was not written there but somehow he managed to find out the bus number to One Utama and before i left to catch up the long awaited bus to Pyramid, he talked to me:

Schoolboy A : Are you from high school?
Me : Setapak High School?
Schoolboy A : Yes, High School Setapak.
Me : Erm, yes I was from there. Why?
Schoolboy A : Ohh, no wonder you looked so familiar to us. We're from there as well.
Me : I see, form?
Schoolboy A : 4
Me : How come you guys ended up here?
Schoolboy A : *for don't know what gaming session*
Me : Oh okay. I got to go, catch up the bus. Good luck! Bye Bye!

Then when I was in the bus, I tried to recall who they were but I failed. Come on, when I was in Form 5, the duo were in Form 2. How can I remember them though we were studying in the same morning session? But it is nice that your juniors back in secondary school still remember you as a senior.

*in Pyramid watching Bourne Ultimatum*

During the beginning of the movie, I received a call from Genting Resorts asking me for my full name and NRIC for identification purpose because I have won myself a pair of Black Eyed Peas' concert tickets worth RM220! Hehe! I am still struggling whether sell the tickets or keep it for myself. See lah, if no one wants to buy from me then I will go but go with who? Anyone wants to volunteer themselves? Hehe! You buy me dinner and provide me transportation together with accommodation enough already.

Oh by the way, I'm selling it off at RM180 per ticket. And, Bourne Ultimatum is a nice movie!

reflections of life

"St John Ambulance volunteers a caring lot

The realisation that he could help save lives spurred 19-year-old college student Lim Wil Liam to continue contributing his time as a St John Ambulance Malaysia (SJAM) volunteer.
“Once we were taking an old lady who was about 60 years old to the hospital when she stopped breathing. I performed cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on her and she started to breathe again,” said Lim, who is studying business at Kolej Damansara Utama.

He learnt first aid skills as a St John member in school and he became a volunteer as a way of giving back to the organisation.

While Malaysians were enjoying the long Hari Raya weekend break, Lim and other volunteers were standing by at the SJAM emergency control centre in Jalan Shelley, off Jalan Peel, Kuala Lumpur."

[Metro, The Star, 17 October 2007]

Why I post up this entry? Because when I was reading this article, it brought back many memories when I was still a cadet/first aider of St.John Ambulance Malaysia (SJAM). Yes my friends, I was a first aider and i saved lives though I don't look like one. I joined when I was in Form 1, then all the while till Form 5. One thing you might don't know about me, but I love to march! Really I do. Kiri, kiri, kiri kanan kiri... It's just fun! Not forgetting the first aid skills I've learned but I doubt if I still remember. Hehe. Can't blame me cause my first aid certificate is expired two years ago. So, If I happen to see anyone who needs help, I can't volunteer to help.

Anyway, the first aider in the article above, Lim Wil Liam, is actually my friend that I got to know through SJAM. He was my junior at that time but I was surprised when I saw him in the newspaper. I never expect he will join SJAM as adult member (take note that we are encouraged to join as adult member after completed secondary school because we are no longer a cadet then) because I think he is the one in a million of cadets that will join adult. It is not easy to join as adult member because it needs alot of commitment which I failed miserably to commit myself.

I know SJAM's HQ doesn't look impressive but who cares right? We are here to safe lives.

back on track...

It's been such a long time since I last posted. Firstly, I want to shout out Happy Belated Birthday to my brother, Calvin who's celebrating his 23rd birthday (gor, I don't think you mind I say this out right?) and Pui Mun for celebrating her ahem* I better don't say la. Hehe! For my brother, i hope you had a blast this year (guess you did) and of course, pass your CLP paper. Make us proud by becoming the first ever lawyer in Ng family. I know you can do it cause I have faith in you. As for Pui Mun, good luck in your upcoming work in December and hopefully you will find your Mr.Right soon.

I've been busy doing assignments and presentations in the past few weeks. It was tiring. Damn tiring. I only slept about 6/7 hours a night. Yes, the unusual me right? But thank God, no pimples were spotted on my face! I hate pimples if you don't know. My final semester is coming to an end soon. Very soon. It means I am graduating soon, it also means I will be separated with my classmates also. This is emo so prepare tissue my dear classmates , we started the friendship like drinking a cup of coffee. The more we drink, the better taste it will be. Same goes to our friendships, as time goes by, we're closer with each other. It's hard to start a new friendship at a brand new enviornment. I'm a slow heater, you will find me cocky if you don't know me but if you do, you will see the other side of me.

I can't wait for the class trip in Nov but at the same time I don't want it to come so fast also. Fickle-minded, isn't it? I really think everything happens for a reason. I'm very grateful that I joined the June intake 2005 because i met beautiful people like you all. You guys were there for me when I needed support the most (yea, back in final exams of sem 3). Thanks for all the courage, support, love, and messages. Else, I won't be able to overcome it. I will always appreciate that. Thank you.

what a day

I'm having a really bad day today. From work to assignment. Trust me, it is really bad but fortunately i had a few hours for myself to keep my away from all the problems i'm facing.

Oh well, i went to my friend's convocation at JW Marriot, Bukit Bintang. There were some booths showing the graduates' works as well as a fashion show. I was pretty amazed by the fashion show but the winner was really unpredictable. Lolz.

Elaine, I always keep my promises. I promised you I will go means I will, no matter what. You know the shits I am going through today. Thanks for everything ok? At least I was far far 'away' from all the problems when I was at your convo. Congratulations ya? You looked fabulous and gorgeous just now. *wink*

*She's not my girlfriend ok? She's taken but
I'm still available. Lolz
