the end = the beginning

Feb 2009

Cyrus : Miranda, this is just the first week. Sigh. Can't wait for mid sem break =(
Miranda : Yes Cyrus, so many weeks to go =(

April 2009

Cyrus: Umi (I call Miranda by Umi), the mid sem break is here! Ahah, I'm off the Melbourne =)
Miranda : But we still have many weeks left =( Tonnes of assignemnts!
Cyrus : Oh yea. Stressed lah Miranda! Very stressed!

June 2009

Cyrus : Week 12 already Umi, final week. So fast eh?
Miranda: Yes, time flies.
Cyrus : Remember how we used to rant during the first few weeks?

It's so fast. Scarily fast. This semester is a challenging one. Put the environment changed aside, the total of work I need to complete is huge. Feeling stressed. But still need to go on with it, I don't really have a choice, do I? I'll not complain though, because this is what I've chosen. This is why I am here, I am determined =) Finally it's coming to an end. Four years of tertiary studies, countless of assignments and presentations. Stresses too They're all for good. I learned alot. I gained alot.

The big question is, where do I go next? Continuing Masters? I wish, I mean I'd love to have a Bachelor (Honours) but it's abit too late. Masters? It's way too expensive for now. So, work is the next possible choice. Gosh, hate working life! It needs so much commitment and I can't really have my own lil' sweet time. I'll be tied up with work, work, and work!

Working in Singapore is always one of my considerations cause I have relatives there, so the transition would be easier. Haha. My aunty is so happy when I told her my plan. She sounded so welcoming. Haha. So yea, Singapore. But I'd love to stay in KL too. I heart KL! I've to start everything again from scratch if I go to Singapore. Oh, since I'll be going to Hong Kong in December for probably two weeks, I'll try looking for a job too. As much as I heart KL, why must I limit myself to Malaysia only right? I'm still young, this is the perfect time where I explore new things. To gain more exposure, to gain more knowledge. I believe I can take another challenge. I'm determined (Teo, 2006). =)

Yea, now it's down to two assignments and a written exam (for my Japanese). Hopefully, I won't screw up in my last few assignments. Wish me luck in getting Ds and maybe HDs for this semester =)

got to go or not?

Well, do you think some people actually don't mean it when they say gtg on MSN? I was chatting with one of my good friends recently on MSN and when this friend said gtg cause needed to do something, i kindly replied bye and said sleep earlier. Surprisingly, this friend sent me a text message after that, saying why I said bye instead of chatting longer on MSN?

I was stuned.

Although I'm Willing

I heard this perfect emo Chinese song last year on radio station and to my surprise, the singer is a Malaysian. I like it because the lyrics is meaningful although I couldn't really get the meaning but yea, I like it.

"就算我们之间有什么问题
依然想念着你
虽然被放弃
虽然我愿意
就算我们之间有什么难题
黑夜我还想着你
心碎人孤寂
虽然我愿意
(心还想着你)"

quick update

It's been such a long time I didn't post any entry. Million apologies. Have been very very busy with uni lately, especially when the semester is ending in few weeks' time. Countless pages of workbook, words for assignments, readings to be read. Everything is so stuffed up. Never felt like this before, this stressed up. I guess because this is my final semester, it determines everything. My CGPA hasn't been shining since I started my degree with UniSA. I wonder why. So yeah, I'm working extra hard this semester because it's the last chance for me to pull it up higher.

Well, luckily lecturers are nice to me, and my grades for assignments and presentations are at satisfactory level =) I think the lecturers back in Taylor's are more strict when it comes to marking. Haha. Um, still have a few more assignments to go but they're all important ones. About 10,000 words! Sigh. I will survive and make it there on August 4th, my big day. Graduation Ceremony.

I've been here for more than three months and I must admit that my cooking skill has improved tremendously! Haha! look at the pictures below. They're so yummylicious!
