back from trip

I went to Bangkok recently for a 5 days 4 nights trip with family. It has been a while ago since we went for a family trip. The last trip was back in 2004 (right after SPM, hehe). This is the first time we travelled together when my mum's not around, the feeling is weird. How i wish she's there together with us, but i can only wish or hope.

Ok, let's talk about something more happy. It's actually sad! I spent alot during the trip. Argh, have to start save money from now on for the next trip (with classmates). I didn't sleep a day before i left for Bangkok because i need to go KL Sentral to catch the bus to LCCT at 5am, i tried to sleep at 3.15am but i can't. Surprisingly, Air Asia departed earlier than expected (normally people complaint it will always delay the flight). Took cab to hotel when reached airport. It's only RM40 man! The taxi fares in Bangkok is freaking cheap, i got stucked in the traffic jam for about 1 hour 30 minutes in Bangkok, guess how much was it? It was only RM 16! And the taxi driver didn't even curse in the car (unlike Msia's, all the four letter words coming out or worst still, ask you to go down). Satisfied-nyer, but i felt bad for the driver. Hehe!

Back to the hotel, i stayed in this hotel named BaiyokeSky Hotel. It is the tallest tower in Thailand, in a total of 84 floors if i'm not mistaken. Since the standard view rooms in lower floors were all occupied, we were upgraded to the better view rooms at 50th floor. As their hotel guests, we can go up to the 84th floor (Revolving Deck) to view Bangkok's amazing skyline for free. I don't know why but their flyover got my attention the most from the view. Hahaha! For those who are going to Bangkok, or planning to, please eat the Mc Donald's samurai grilled pork burger and yam pie(taro pie), it's so good! And remember to ta pao for me if possible, Hahah! I'm missin it! Not forgetting their KFC (tom yam flavour small drumstick and the shrimp 'foldover')! And of course, tom yam! Yummy yummy~ After coming back from Bangkok, i can declare myself as a shopaholic! Haha! Trust me, you can't resist your temptations to buy things. No matter you're a he, or she!
